IRN/HMW/28/Ex-1G magnetic switch EX JOLA

Description

The IRN/HMW/28/Ex-1G magnetic switch EX JOLA can be mounted on a pipe with a diameter from 28mm – 70mm. The switch is used for automatic level control, level indication, limit/point level detection, as an anti-drain protection or as an overfill protection for liquids in tanks or tanks.

These units are not suitable for use on vibrating machines or in places where they are subject to shock or vibration.

Mode of operation

IRN / HMW /../ Ex-1G II 2 G Ex ia IIC T6 Gb magnetic switches are housed in a housing that can be attached to the pipe by means of a hose clamp attached to the housing. The housing shall contain a connection terminal and a microswitch. A magnet is attached to the lever of the latter. When the Ex magnetic switch is fitted and the magnet on the lever of the microswitch is activated by the magnet moving up and down in the tube, this changes the position of the lever of the microswitch and an electric circuit is formed. Magnetic Ex switches have so-called bistable properties; i.e. they remain in a switching state caused by the passing influence of the magnet and only switch when the magnet goes in the opposite direction.
