The IPT-21 Process Transducer with WIKA welded metal load cell<\/strong> is a device that detects pressure and converts it into an electrical signal, where the quantity depends on the pressure or fluid.<\/p>\n

With its HART\u00ae, PROFIBUS\u00ae PA or FOUNDATION Fieldbus\u2122 4 … 20 mA, 4 … 20 mA output signals in combination with intrinsic safety or flameproof enclosure ignition protection (ATEX and IECEx compliant), the IPT-2x model is ideally suited for applications with the highest demands on measurement technology.<\/p>\n

Versatile
\nDue to the available measuring ranges from 0 … 0.1 bar to 0 … 4000 bar [0 … 0.15 to 0 … 60,000 psi] and the freely selectable settings, the instrument can be used in almost any application. The large number of process connections and the wide range of possibilities offered by the metal load cell allow applications in all industries.
\nSeven different case versions are available, so it is possible to choose the version that suits each operating environment.<\/p>\n

The housing itself can be rotated by 330\u00b0 and is available in plastic, aluminium and stainless steel.
\nTo meet the high demands of the food and pharmaceutical industries, an electropolished stainless steel (316L) housing is available.<\/p>\n

Easy configuration and management
\nThe instrument is serviced and configured using an optional display and control module that can be installed in four positions. The operating menu has a simple and self-explanatory structure and comes with nine languages as standard. You can also set the operating parameters using the free and non-proprietary PACTware\u2122 configuration software. The instrument-specific DTM allows easy integration into the relevant process control systems.<\/p>\n
