The modular monobloc design allows the use of ball valves and\/or needle valves. For applications with liquid or dirty media, ball valves are recommended due to the ease of cleaning the internal bore.<\/p>\n<p>The design of the valve seat and the redundant valve body seal ensures high durability and tightness. In the event of failure of the soft seat, the hard seat (metal-to-metal) will ensure that the valve can still be operated in a safe position. The connection between the process and the measuring instrument and the atmosphere is sealed.<\/p>\n<p>The efficient machining of the internal parts of the IBF2 shut-off and vent valve allows very smooth and precise operation, even at high pressures, after long periods of inactivity.
